Sunshine Co-op opened in 2020 on Fentress Boulevard as a neighborhood health and wellness market: vitamins and supplements, better-for-you grocery, clean beauty, pet, and household, from the brands people already trust, at a price that makes sense.
Buying from the big natural distributors meant buying a lot at once, by the pallet and often several at a time, so we started ordering for other independents nearby. That became the co-op: one set of distributor accounts, one large order, and a price the small shops could not reach on their own.
Today the market is still the front door. The co-op supplies independent stores, clinics, and gyms across Florida, and orders ship around the country, with Florida where most of them go. Family owned. Daytona Beach through and through.
Why a co-op.
Buying power, passed on. When we bring in a brand we bring in a lot of it, and the price we get by the pallet is the price our members get by the case.
Minimums that work for independents. We place the large order, you take the part of it you need. You do not have to move a chain's volume to get a chain's price.
A person on the phone. The number on this site rings the owner. Orders, questions, a brand you want us to carry, same number.
That's the retail store and the wholesale desk, in the same building, run by the same people.
